We are excited for the next chapter of our Santana Dance Teams!!! Izanami Bachata Training Team!!!

Our choreography will represent traditional bachata, a rarity in the DMV! We will need bachata dancers who have a good understanding of fundamentals.

Our practices will be for 2 1/2 hours Thursday night, which will consist of technique, musicality and choreography. We also offer trainings with our other salsa teams to for additional training, team gatherings, traveling to perform at congresses and much more.

Join our Santana Pro Ladies Dancers, Susanoo, for an exciting Salsa On2 Body Movement Workshop designed specifically for ladies! This workshop focuses on enhancing and refining lady-like styling techniques, body isolation, and fluid movements to accentuate your Salsa On2 dances. Although geared towards women, all dancers are welcome to join and improve their Salsa styling. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn from the talented Susanoo’s experts and master your body movement on the dance floor!

This 8-week series is designed to take a complete beginner with no dance experience and develop them into a skilled salsa on2/Mambo dancer. You will learn the fundamentals of timing, technique, body movement, and other key principles to help you grow and thrive in your dance journey.

Salsa on2 Advanced This is our most advanced class for advanced dancers. If you have a great foundation, years of experience and want a challenge this class will push you! You will learn Santana Dance style footwork and turnpatterns while training along our advanced salsa team Amaterasu. New schedule starts April 3rd, 2023

This Dominican Style bachata class focuses on movement, feeling, footwork and musicality in the style of Santana. Students will develop the ability to identify key elements of the music and apply them to their dance, enhancing their overall knowledge and ability in bachata.

This class will introduce different concepts such as pachanga, afro cuban and other latin dance styles, to continue your path forward in mambo.

Salsa ON2 Level 2
This class is designed for experienced salsa on2/mambo dancers. You will review advanced concepts, learn different techniques for weight shifting, and explore advanced Santana philosophy to enhance your dance skills.

7:30-8:30 is Beginners – for those of you who have two left feet or only social danced and want to really grow them Salsa skills. This is a great opportunity for you to learn the basics fundamentals, work on your timing, footwork, styling and most importantly connection with the music and body movement control. This class is catered to those who are just getting into salsa and are looking for a friendly environment to have fun, ask questions and of course learn along the way.

8:30-9:30 is Advanced Beginner/Intermediate – catered to those who have mastered the basic fundamentals and timing and are hungry for more!!! Wether it’s in the studio, in your home or outside, there’s always an opportunity to learn!! Come check me out and let’s grow that salsa fever!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
